What Each Part Means

The STL location pin is composed of five purposeful elements. Each has a deliberate visual role and must never be altered, removed, recoloured, or rearranged independently of the whole mark.

STL Logo
Outer Pin Shape
The teardrop location pin — our promise of precise presence. Always points downward. Never rotate or flip this element.
Royal Blue Band
The primary brand colour. A cobalt-to-royal blue gradient that signals trust, authority, and professional confidence.
Chrome Silver Trim
The outer chrome border of the pin. Signals premium quality and luxury craftsmanship. Never replace with flat grey.
STL Monogram
Sam's Tourism & Limo. Three interlocking letterforms. S curves left, T stands tall in centre, L anchors to the right. Never modify the letterform spacing or weight.
Wordmark

Do's & Don'ts

These rules are non-negotiable. Every violation undermines the premium positioning that the STL pin identity represents and has been built to communicate.

✓ Always Do

Use the approved logo PNG files — never recreate the pin from scratch
Choose from only the 9 approved colour variations shown in this guide
Scale proportionally — always lock aspect ratio (pin is taller than wide)
Keep the pin pointing downward at all times — it is a location pin
Use the light-background version on white, cream, and silver surfaces
Use PNG for web and email; PDF/EPS for all professional print applications
Ensure strong contrast between the logo mark and its background

✗ Never Do

Rotate, tilt, skew, or flip the location pin mark in any direction
Stretch or compress the pin disproportionately (always lock ratio)
Recolour the blue to any unauthorised colour
Add drop shadows, glows, gradients, or 3D effects to the flat logo
Place on a complex photograph without sufficient contrast buffer
Alter the S, T, L letterform spacing or weight in the monogram
Use the wordmark text without the pin mark above it
Use the dark version on white, cream, or silver backgrounds
